The Gateway Upgrade North (GUN) Project involves the strategic upgrade to an 11.3 kilometre section of Gateway Motorway between the Southern Cross Way at Nudgee and Barrett Street at Bracken Ridge.

The overall GUN Project is a jointly funded initiative of the Australian Government and the State Government. The Department of Transport and Main Roads (TMR) is responsible for delivery of the overall GUN Project and realisation of project benefits.

Through this Request for Proposal (RFP), TMR invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a Proposal to participate in a double Early Contractor Involvement (dECI) Procurement Process and ultimately prepare an offer to design, construct and commission the civil and structural works of the Package 2 of the overall GUN Project. The construction cost of these works is expected to be in the order of $550 million (excluding GST).
