Request for Tenders (RFT) for the Provision of the Small Biz Connect Program in the Far West Business Service Area. The program provides a comprehensive support and advisory service to small businesses across NSW, focusing on the provision of face to face support.

The Small Biz Connect program commenced in September 2012. It provides a comprehensive support and advisory service to NSW small businesses.

The OSBC is seeking a contractor to deliver the Small Biz Connect program in the Far West Business Service Area, which comprises the local government areas of Broken Hill, Central Darling and Unincorporated NSW.

Through its business advisors and through its other operations under Small Biz Connect, the Contractor will support small business formation by start-up small business (including small business intenders) by providing advice and support that assist the establishment of businesses and enhance their survival and long term viability.

The Contractor will support established small businesses by providing services that underpin profitability, business expansion and long term business growth prospects, and supports orderly succession of ownership of existing businesses in the Far West Business Service Area serviced by the Contractor.

The Contractor will deliver a mix of one to one, telephone and internet-based advice to client businesses. The Small Biz Connect program focuses on the provision of face to face support and is complemented by skills development workshops and seminars.
