This request is for the provision of a sobering up centre service in Geraldton.  The  purpose of the centre is to provide a safe, care oriented environment in which persons found intoxicated in public may sober up, therefore diverting them from police lock-ups and reducing the likelihood of them causing further harm to themselves or others in the community.

It is a condition of the request that the service be delivered from the purpose built facility located at Lot 3110 Larkin St, Geraldton. The premises are owned by the WA Alcohol and Drug Authority (t/a the Drug and Alcohol Office) and the successful Respondent will be required to sign the lease which is appendixed to this request.
