Tender Description
NSW Trains provides rail services throughout New South Wales under the brand name NSW TrainLink. NSW Trains also enters into contracts with private coach operators to provide coach services throughout New South Wales (`Rural Coach Services`).
This RFP is for the provision of Rural Coach Services relating to eighteen rural coach service contracts to different locations in New South Wales, Victoria and Australian Capital Territory.
Proposals are invited from the Accredited Service Operators under the Public Transport Act 1990 (NSW) for the NSW TrainLink Rural Coach services.
At present, rural coach services and supporting services are organised into various parts (referred to as Separable Parts) that link different locations in New South Wales, Victoria and the ACT. For this RFP, the notion of Separable Parts has been rationalised into, and replaced by, 18 separate Contracts for Coach Services.
NSW Trains requirements in relation to the Rural Coach Services are outlined in this Request for Proposal. Additional and supporting information is provided in the data room.
The duration of the contract shall be for 5 years with options to extend for another three years based on operator performance.
