Positive Charge is managing this Expression of Interest on behalf of Moreland City Council. The EoI is for the delivery of a solar PV bulk buy program and/or the supply of energy efficient lighting options for residents and businesses across Moreland. The bulk buy program will operate until December 31st 2014 with the possibility of an extension into 2015 subject to review.

Background: Moreland City Council, through the Zero Carbon Evolution strategy, has committed to an ambitious plan to achieve a 22 per cent reduction in carbon emissions across the Moreland community by 2020. Two of the key strategies to achieve this include; generating local renewable energy and using energy efficiently. Moreland Council has set a number of goals for the scale of action required over the next six years, including solar PV on 21,000 homes and 1,200 businesses and energy efficiency improvements in 36,000 homes and 1,400 businesses.

Products We are looking for suppliers to provide the following products to households and businesses for phase two of the service:

Product Description: Solar PV Supply and installation of solar PV products for households and business including sale, financing and leasing options

Lighting solutions Energy efficient lighting opportunities for residential and small business. Focused LED alternatives for halogen down light and LED alternatives for T8 florescent tube replacements.
