Tender Details
Tender Description
University of Canberra (UC) is a public university located on 118 hectares in Bruce, a north-western suburb of Canberra within easy reach of shopping and entertainment venues in the Belconnen Town Centre and the Civic centre.
UC aims to be amongst the world's leading universities in research, teaching and learning for responsible public administration and services.
The academic structure of UC comprises four faculties (Arts and Design; Business, Government & Law; Education, Science, Technology and Mathematics; and Health) and three research centres; the Institute for Applied Ecology (IAE); Institute for Governance and Policy Analysis (UC-IGPA), and UC Research Institute for Sport and Exercise (UC-RISE)).
UC has a variety of sporting fields, grasslands, gardens and curtilage areas across the campus, with a distinctive native setting. Remnant vegetation and ecological constraints to protect flora and fauna on campus are documented and integrated into planning and management.
UC is seeking submissions from suitably qualified organisations to assist UC Estate Management in managing these areas.
There will be a recommended site visit at 10am Canberra local time, Wednesday 3rd September 2014.
