CENTRAL SUPPLY AND TENDERS BOARD. TENDER NO. CSTB 3124 - CONTRACT NO. 42-AT-24CK. RECONSTRUCTION OF BOLUMINSKY HIGHWAY FROM PINATGIN END OF SEAL TO SOALABA BRIDGE (28 KM) IN NEW IRELAND PROVINCE.

The Government of Papua New Guinea has received funding from the Government of Australia for the Papua New Guinea Transport Sector Support Program (TSSP). The Central Supply and Tenders Board (CSTB) on behalf of the Department of Works, invites written sealed bids for the Reconstruction of Boluminsky Highway from Pinatgin End of Seal to Soalaba Bridge (28 km), New Ireland Province.

Bid Security:
Bids less than PGK1 million (not required)
Bids exceeding PGK1 million (PGK10,000.00)
Bids exceeding PGK10 million (PGK15,000.00)
Bid Security must be in the form of a Bank Cheque and bids submitted without the respective Bid Security will be rejected.

Tender Document Fee: A non-refundable fee of PGK1,000.00 per set of tender documents in the form of a Bank Cheque payable to Central Supply and Tenders Board.

Pre-tender Site Meeting: A pre-tender meeting will be held at DoW Kavieng Office, New Ireland Province, on Thursday 16 October 2014 at 10:00am.

Bid Delivery Place: The Tender Box, Central Supply and Tenders Board, First Floor, Westpac Waigani Branch Building, Waigani Drive, PO Box 6457, Boroko, National Capital District, Papua New Guinea.

Closing time and date: 10:00am on Thursday 30 October 2014.

Instructions to Bidders:
1. Interested Bidders must arrange with their Agent(s) or a Courier firm of their choice to pick up tender documents and a similar arrangement must be done for the lodgement of their bid(s).
2. Bidders must clearly address the outer envelope containing their bid with the address as indicated in the Bid Delivery Place and marked Attention: Chairman, CSTB with the tender number, description of the project, closing date and time.
3. It is the Bidders responsibility to ensure that their Bids are correctly placed as indicated above in the Tender Box and the Central Supply and Tenders Board will not be held liable regarding same.
