The Department is seeking responses to this RFT for the provision of regional scale flood mapping for the Avon River and tributaries. Specifically, the following river reaches will be mapped:

* Avon River from the Channel Flood Gauge to Lake Wellington;
* Valencia Creek from Paddy Lee Track to the confluence with the Avon River;
* Freestone Creek from Culloden to the confluence with the Avon River; and
* Blackall Creek from Briagolong – Stockdale Rd to the confluence with the Avon River.

Outputs from this project will meet a range of business requirements. Outputs will be used to:

* Define flood related controls in the Wellington Shire Council planning schemes.
* Develop flood intelligence products and inform emergency response planning.
* Assist in the preparation of community flood awareness and education products.
* Support the assessment of flood risk for insurance purposes.
