This Expression of Interest (EOI) is seeking proposals from the market to assist Queensland Health (the Customer) to explore an alternative healthcare delivery model involving a Mobile Surgical Van (MSV).
The MSV is not intended to replace service provision at the rural/remote HHSs. This project seeks to enhance/support current rural/remote HHS services, by enabling patients currently screened and treated in other regional or metropolitan HHSs to be treated in their resident HHS. The objective of this project is the augmentation of labour and technological capacity/capability at the level 2-3 facilities, thereby maximising facility utilisation by providing services currently not available within the HHS region.
