The current site facilities are inappropriate for DEPI’s current business and operational requirements. The site will be redeveloped as primarily an office based facility, especially for service delivery staff, including some depot facilities. The existing main office building will be refurbished and refitted as high quality office accommodation.
 
In August 2013 DEPI commenced the project to plan the redevelopment of the existing site in Knoxfield on approximately 5 hectares of the previous Knoxfield research site.
 
The department is seeking responses to this Expression of Interest (EOI) from specialist contractors for the supply and installation of 143 complete workstations, including but not limited to frames, screens, work benches, cable management, shelves, file drawers, pedestals, CPU holders, monitoring arms and power, telephone and data outlets.
