In response to a recommendation from the Victorian Auditor-General’s audit Administration and Effectiveness of the Environmental Contribution Levy, tabled in Parliament in June 2014, the Department of Environment and Primary Industries is seeking to undertake an evaluation of the overall effectiveness of the Environmental Contribution over the 10 years since it was established. The evaluation will review the achievements, effectiveness and outcomes of the Environmental Contribution between 2004 and 2014.
