Tender Description

Applications for Registrations of Interest (ROI) are invited from contractors who are on the Road and Maritime Services F100 (Financial), B4 (Bridgeworks) and R4 (Roadworks) Register of Prequalified Contractors to undertake the design and construction of the Additional Crossing of the Clarence River at Grafton.

The project involves the detailed design and construction of:

* A new road bridge over the Clarence River;
* The upgrade of parts of the road network in Grafton and South Grafton to connect the new bridge to the existing road network (which may be partially or completely undertaken by others);
* The works to part of the existing rail viaduct where it crosses Pound Street in Grafton;
* A new pedestrian and cycle path; and
* Flood mitigation works, including on the existing levee, in Grafton and South Grafton (which may be partially or completely undertaken by others).

A shortlist of applicants will be selected and invited to submit tenders for the design and construction of the project.

Applicants must comply with the New South Wales Government's Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for the Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines).
