Tender Description
The Department of Regional Development (Department) provided accommodation for the Head Contractor for the Ord-East Kimberley Expansion Project at the Garrjang Village worker's camp. The facility is no longer required and the disposal of camp assets and site clearance and restoration is offered by way of tender.
Tenders are hereby called for the purchase of the buildings and other assets, removal, site clearance and restoration in accordance with this invitation to tender document and terms. Tenders are on an as is, where is basis, covering all contingencies. The tender price is to be a lump sum, specific and subject to liquidated damages as agreed in the event of failure to fulfill the contract terms.
Potential Purchasers (Tenderers) are invited to tender. Our preference is for a single Tenderer to perform the whole of the contract works. It is our intention to give Tenderers who submit for the whole contract, preference. In the event that we are unsuccessful in obtaining an acceptable tender on those terms, we will then proceed to consider options for disposal of the assets in portions.
The Department reserves the right, in its absolute discretion, to allocate the contract for the whole of the works at any time and on any conditions, independent of any of the requirements of this tender process and other tenderers.
