The Bank of Papua New Guinea is seeking to prequalify Contractors from Papua New Guinea and International Building Companies with the appropriate experience and resources required to undertake the construction of a new Cash Distribution Facility in Lae, PNG.

Building Contractors will be required to demonstrate experience within the last five years constructing major office, bank/cash handling facility or other specialist building types for Government and other major institutional clients with a capital value over PGK50 million or equivalent in foreign currencies.

All firms who register an Expression of Interest will be required to fill out a Prequalification form. Following assessment of the prequalification, firms will be shortlisted by the Bank of Papua New Guinea and added to the tender list for the project. Tenders for the construction of the Facility are expected to be issued in August 2015.
