See attached document for details. Companies must be able to demonstrate project construction experience executing Bulk Earthwork construction contracts in excess of 100,000 cbm. If not able to demonstrate then company should register for a Partial Scope of Work.
Scope of Work is gas facilities site preparation and access road construction as part of the Bowen Gas Project. The work includes, but is not limited to:
(a) Survey set-out;
(b) Clearing and grubbing;
(c) Topsoil stripping and management to and from stockpiles;
(d) Cut and fill earthworks to designed formations for laydown areas and hardstands associated with central and field gas compression facilities, substations and temporary power facilities, marshalling yard / warehouse, water treatment facility;
(e) Drainage systems including channels, pipe or box culverts or rock/concrete based floodways;
(f) Subgrade preparation and pavement construction (varying pavement and coursing depths);
(g) Pavement sealing with road markings, signage and guide posts (where applicable);
(h) Public road intersection construction where new access roads meet existing public roads including traffic control;
(i) Isaac River Crossing (causeway including large RCBC culverts);
(j) Water Treatment Facilities dams for containment of construction water, CSG raw water, treated water, brine and utility water including bulk earthworks, buried pipes and pits and PE lining;
(k) Landscaping;
(l) Fencing – stock and security;
(m) Construction tertiary approvals (statutory and third party approvals).
Construction water sources will be provided for the project.
Potential may exist for the contractor to undertake development and operation of a quarry for these and other project works where materials sources are located within the project area.
