REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR PROVISION OF RAIL COAL HAULAGE SERVICES TO AGL MACQUARIE

REFERENCE: PRJ10417

This RFP primarily seeks offers for the core rail haulage component of service requirements and the ancillary aspects covering the management of AGL Macquarie's two rail unloaders. A further component covering the maintenance of the coal unloaders and associated infrastructure will be discussed and negotiated with shortlisted vendors following evaluation of rail haulage proposals.

The proposed contract arising from this RFP will be for a fixed term of eight (8) years commencing July 2017. This period of time aligns with AGL Macquarie's current coal supply contracts with Peabody Energy's Wilpinjong mine and Glencore's Mangoola mine.
