Request for Tender for the Manufacture and Installation of a Blast Wall Augmentation at Unit 2 Generator Transformer Yard of the Bayswater Power Station

This Scope of Works covers the manufacture, installation and ancillary works at AGL Macquarie's Bayswater Power Station for an augmentation of Blast Walls at the Unit 2 Generator Transformer Yard.

A Generating Unit Outage for the Bayswater Power Station's Unit 2 generation plant is currently planned to be undertaken from 1st April 2016 to 27th May 2016. Unit Generating Outages are however subject to change in date and duration and, as such, these dates may change at any time. Nevertheless, the Contractor must Practically Complete the Works within four (4) weeks from Possession of Site.

Work under this Scope of Works must be completed within a four (4) week period nominated by AGL Macquarie during the Generating Unit Outage period, which, at the date of issue of the RFT, shall require the Contractor to Practically Complete by no later than 4th May 2016.

At the time of issue of the RFT, site based Substantive Works are not able to commence prior to 6th April 2016. This however would not prevent the Contractor from undertaking ancillary work such as site establishment.
