Wyangala Waters Holiday Park is replacing the existing sewer system with a new sewer reticulation system, pump station which includes decommissioning of existing oxidation pond. The sewer works shall be staged as the sewer will connect into a new sewer treatment plant which is a separate project and being funded and project managed by Public Works & Office of Water.
The Wyangala Sewer Upgrade major works shall be completed during the off season while allowing the existing surfaces to re-establish prior to the peak season. Listed below is the staging of works to be completed.
Stage 1 - After award of contract install all of the new sewer reticulation, pump stations and rising main while the existing sewer system remains operational. These works are to be completed between May - July 2016
Stage 2 - The Wyangala township will have a new sewer treatment plant completed by the end November 2016 which Wyangala Waters Holiday Park shall connect into . Contractors are to complete sewer upgrades cut over to new system, decommsion existing septic tanks, oxidation ponds and any other associactes works to complete the sewer works. These works are to be completed by November 2016 in conjunction with the sewer treatment plant being operational.
