Warringah Council invites tenders, from suitably qualified and experienced contractors, for inclusion in the Minor Works Panel for Asphaltic Concrete Restorations, Asphaltic Concrete Heavy Patching and Concrete Restorations Works. Tenders may tender for one or as many panels of the following 3 separate panel contracts:

Sub-Panel 1, Asphaltic Concrete Restoration Works
Emergency repairs and new trench openings by Public Utilities, builders, plumbers and others necessitate a steady flow of restoration works throughout the Council area. Most of these restorations are concentrated in a few localities where new trenching and other types of restoration works have been carried out. Other openings may be more widely scattered due to water main failures, gas line failures, natural failures, new building developments and similar works.

Sub-Panel 2, Asphaltic Concrete Heavy Patching Works
This activity covers the repair of localised pavement failures. Heavy patching is defined independently of the depth of repair. Typically the pavement is deformed and/or cracked due to poor construction or a weak subgrade or pavement layer, often due to water ingress.

Sub-Panel 3, Concrete Restoration Works
Emergency repairs and new trench openings by Public Utilities, builders, plumbers and others necessitate a steady flow of restoration works throughout the Council area. Most of these restorations are concentrated in a few localities where new trenching and other types of restoration works have been carried out. Other openings may be more widely scattered due to water main failures, gas line failures, natural failures, new building developments and similar works.

Tenderers may apply and be selected for more than one (1) sub-panel.

The works are to be carried out strictly in accordance with the requirements in this document. To have tenders considered, contractors will need to ensure that all required information requested in the Request for Tender document is provided.

Under this contract, Council proposes to engage one or more contractors for each Sub Panel, for a period of one (1) year with Council retaining the right to extend the contract for further four (4), one (1) year periods.
