RFQ 2016/045 Planning Consultancy Services Panel for the Assessment of Planning Proposal Applications

Warringah Local Environmental Plan 2011 (WLEP 2011) came into force on 9 December 2011. The plan was prepared over a several years during which time Council was not considering rezoning applications. Following the approval of the new LEP, Council identified the potential for a number of rezoning applications. This is a potentially large un-programmed work source that we are seeking to allocate additional resources to, while maintaining the timely assessment and reporting of these applications.

Council subsequently established a panel of planning consultants to assist with this work. Council is now undertaking a request for quotations to renew this panel. Council's objective for the panel is to obtain:
* High quality, well written reports that contain the appropriate level of justification and clear recommendations.
* Timely service

Reports that follow the format for Planning Proposal's set down by the Department of Planning and Infrastructure. They will also contain an executive summary that will form the main content of the Council report.

Council hereby invites quotations for inclusion in the Services Panel (Panel) for the provision of planning services for the assessment of planning proposals, primarily involving rezoning applications.

The term of contract will be 1 year with 2 x 1 year option at Council's discretion.
