Request for Tender Provision of Emergency and Standard Transport Services to DELWP

During fire suppression activity, DELWP requires a constant flow of supplies which may include resourcing base camps in remote areas throughout the State. To facilitate delivery of the supplies, DELWP wishes to contract either sole provider or a panel of suppliers capable of providing a range of transporting services inclusive of loading and transporting 20 foot containers, general goods on smaller vehicles and up to prime movers, and palletised fuel. The final panel of suppliers may consist of a single supplier provided they offer the full service throughout the state. Alternatively, there may be multiple providers on the panel as each respondent is entitled to apply for isolated categories of services as nominated in the tender documents.

The Department is seeking an initial contract term of three years with two by one year options at the sole discretion of the Department. The Department reserves the right to annually refresh the panel to add new suppliers where necessary to enhance supply.

Hardcopy Tenders containing a softcopy quoting Tender No. 330188 must be placed in a sealed envelope and lodged in the Tender Box located at 8 Nicholson Street, East Melbourne, 3002.

Pricing must be included in a separate sealed envelope with the main envelope.

Vendors are strongly advised to attend the Industry Briefing session and Site Visits on Tuesday 26.04.2016.

Tenders close at 14.00 AEST on Thursday 19/05/2016.

When arranging lodgement of tenders be aware that DELWP does not issue receipts.

Facsimile, e-mail or late tenders will not be accepted.

The lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted.
