East Wimmera Health Service is seeking a suitable experienced uniform supplier to provide uniforms to all East Wimmera Health Service staff. In total East Wimmera Health Service has 417 staff spread across five campuses located at Birchip, Charlton, Donald, St Arnaud and Wycheproof. The staff consists of clinical and non-clinical staff with 139 staff classed as fulltime, 179 staff are part time and 99 casual staff members. The initial rollout of the uniform will consist of approximately 1946 pieces with an additional rollout of 973 pieces in twelve months’ time. All shirts and jackets are to have the East Wimmera Health Service logo and any alterations will be made as required.

The uniforms will be of a suitable quality consistent with the demands of healthcare. East Wimmera Health Service is looking at selecting a corporate colour, and offering a range of items to staff that meet their needs in the corporate colour. The uniform rollout will cover all clinical and corporate staff under a corporate colour. Outside this arrangement will be the uniforms for catering and maintenance, those uniforms will be fit for purpose in line with industry standards, there is no corporate colour associated with these uniforms.

The supplier of uniforms must be able to provide onsite service at regular intervals throughout the year for the duration of the contract, this would consist of a minimum of two visits per year to each campus. During these visits staff may require uniforms supplied by EWHS, however historically many staff purchase additional pieces (consistent with the uniform supplied) that suit personal situations, i.e additional shirts or pants.

This contract is for the provision of uniforms for an initial 3 years with the option to extend this contract by mutual agreement for a further 3 years.
