Tender Description
The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals to Conduct 10 Year Major Inspections on Vehicle Loading Cranes. It includes the Reinstatement on Specified Ergon Energy Vehicle Loading Cranes and the Refit Back onto a Cab Chassis where required.
Depending on requirements these goods / services specifically include:
The Vehicle Loading Crane and associated equipment shall undergo a maintenance, and certification of the 10 year major inspection in accordance with AS2550.1 current at the time of performing the work.
In conducting the 10 year inspection, the VLC and associated equipment is to be made compliant with the requirements of AS1418.11 - 2007 (i.e. not the current AS1418.11-2014).
The Service Provider must also notify Ergon Energy’s Representative of any discrepancy / contradictions between Ergon Energy’s requirements and those of the Australian Standards referred to above.
The Service Provider shall conduct 10 Year Major Inspections on Knuckle VLCs, as requested by SG Fleet Pty Ltd (Ergon Energy’s Fleet Maintenance Management Contractor), including the refit back onto a cab chassis where required.
Stages of Work are detailed below:
Strip, inspect and estimate on required works;
a) Review before approval granted to proceed;
b) Carry out approved works, recommissioning and Induction; and
c) Provision of reports and certifications.
Successful Applicants will be contacted directly by SG Fleet Pty Ltd (Ergon Energy’s Fleet Maintenance Management Contractor) and will be invited to enter into a Contract (a “Dealer Supply & Maintenance Agreement”) with SG Fleet Pty Ltd (and not Ergon Energy). Any changes to the Contract once provided by SG Fleet Pty Ltd must be negotiated directly with that company. Once a Contract has been established between the Service Provider and SG Fleet Pty Ltd, Service Providers will be given the opportunity to quote on work as it arises. The performance of all work to which this pre-qualified list relates will be undertaken under that Contract.
