Wellington City Council has identified these sewer mains for replacement.
The works consists of the renewal of public sewer mains in Balfour Street, Mornington.
This contract specifies the renewal of the sewer main and associated manholes and connections in private property between 10 Balfour Street and 28 Balfour Street. This work will include pipe bursting (84m) on the existing alignment and a combination of open trenching (17m) and directional drilling (43m) on a new alignment.
Tenders outlining alternative methodologies for replacement will be accepted in accordance with clause 5.12 in the Conditions of Tendering.
Tenderers should clearly state their replacement/ renewal methodology and have a clear revised Schedule of Prices included in their tender submission.
