Tenders are invited and will be received up to 2:00pm on Tuesday 30 August 2016 for:
Newcastle City Council is seeking tenders to lease and operate the beach kiosk at Newcastle Beach Pavilion, Shortland Esplanade, Newcastle NSW 2300.

Newcastle Beach Kiosk is positioned on the ground level of Newcastle Beach Surf Pavilion, located within a breezeway.

The decision to call for tenders in leasing the Council-owned kiosk operation was prompted by the sitting tenant whom held a five (5) year lease expiring 26 September 2017 agreeing to a mutual surrender of their lease on 21 June 2016. The lease term offered is for six years and is co-terminus with Council's common lease renewal date for its kiosks in other Newcastle beach locations.

Responsibility for lodgement by the deadline lies solely with the tenderer. Lodgement information is provided in the tender document. Council is not bound to accept the lowest tender or any tender submitted.

Non-mandatory pre-tender site inspections will be held on:
* 11.00 a.m. to 11.45 a.m. on Tuesday 9 August 2016;
