The Quality Agency is the accreditation body for residential and home care services. We have a clear mandate to promote quality and better practice across the aged care community:
* To promote high quality care, innovation in quality management and continuous improvement and
* To provide information, education and training.

The Better Practice conferences remain a major draw card for senior staff and management of aged care homes. It is the most popular feature of our industry education program.

The educational conferences coordinated by the Quality Agency are designed for the health and aged care industry; delegates pay all expenses to attend the conferences including registration, travel and accommodation.

As the conference is held in seven capital cities/territory most delegates are from intrastate with the largest number being from the greater metropolitan area of each city. History shows the majority of delegates will go home at the conclusion of each day and will therefore not require accommodation.

The conferences are focused on education with a 1-hour networking function at the conclusion of day one being the only social event. Sessions run from 8.45am - 4.30pm daily. The bulk of delegates will attend both days of the conference therefore registration on day one is particularly demanding.
