A large proportion of complaints made to HaDSCO concern the adequacy of clinical care patients receive.

HaDSCO requires the provision of expert medical advice and guidance to its staff about the complex medical issues that arise from complaints.

The Medical Practitioners will be required to:
i) Provide expert advice to HaDSCO on medical matters relating to the assessment, negotiated settlement, conciliation and investigation of health, mental health and disability complaints; and
ii) Liaise with other professional medical bodies and colleges about contemporary National standards and guidelines for medical and clinical practice and appropriate applied policy and procedures for clinical practice.
