Return to Work Corporation of South Australia (RTWSA) is responsible for providing work injury insurance and regulating the South Australian Return to Work scheme. We are a statutory authority set up under the Return to Work Corporation of South Australia Act 1994 to administer the Return to Work Act 2014. We have a Board of Directors appointed by the Governor of South Australia, and are subject to the direction of the Minister for Industrial Relations, the Hon John Rau MP. This ~~Request for Tender (RFT) is for the provision of internal audit services to RTWSA effective from 1 July 2017.

These services must comply with the functional requirements of the RFT. The services are required to be compliant with the Australian Auditing Standards of the Institute for Standards for South Australian Government insurance agencies.

Further, RTWSA is seeking an independent external internal audit firm which:
* Has a proven capacity and capability to perform the scope of work;
* Can provide a designated principal to deliver credible and independent advice.

This contract is for a term of three years. The current contract terminates on 30 June 2017 and RTWSA is seeking to commence new contract arrangements with the successful tenderer on 1 July 2017 to allow the transition process to be completed in time for the appointed provider to commence on 1 July 2017.
