The introduction of the Mining Rehabilitation Fund (MRF) provides a dedicated course of funding to address abandoned mines in Western Australia. The Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) has accessed MRF interest to undertake rehabilitation activities at the Pro-Force site near Coolgardie.

DMP is proposing to engage a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to remove scrap metal from the Pro-Force Plant Site near Coolgardie and dispose of the material at a suitable refuse facility nearby. This work will be done in Q4 2016.

DMP is seeking Expressions of Interest from stakeholders who may be interested in providing quotes to undertake this work.
