The requirement, is for a production level digital colour printer with print server and booklet maker. As a networked solution, this must deliver a high level of consistent colour quality output, suitable as final output for publications and graphic arts, within an in-house, print-on-demand publishing capability. As a guide the proposed solution should have a capability to produce an average monthly volume in the vicinity of, up to 90,000 to 100,000 pages.

The ATSB has an expectation that the equipment should have a guaranteed life of 5 years.

The solution will include all the necessary hardware and software to replace and further enhance the existing capabilities, speed and quality of an existing ATSB in-house publishing capability.
