Tender Description
The Victorian Managed Insurance Authority (VMIA) has decided to establish a Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) Distributor Panel and is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from interested parties wishing to be appointed to this new panel.
The VMIA is seeking suitably qualified organisations to act in the role of distributors of DBI to all qualifying builders, large and small alike.
Expressions of Interest are invited and will be received until 2:00pm (Local Melbourne time) on Thursday 24 November 2016.
It is a mandatory requirement for interested parties submitting an EOI to hold a current Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL) that authorises them to provide advice on and to deal in general insurance products to wholesale and retail clients, or is an Authorised Representative of the AFSL holder.
The EOI process:
(a) allows interested parties to submit value add suggestions or additional services that would support the VMIAs objective for DBI in Victoria; and
(b) is a mandatory pre-qualification process that will lead to a selective Request for Tender (RFT) being issued to shortlisted Respondents.
Anyone failing to respond to the Invitation for EOI (or Respondents that are not shortlisted) will not be entitled to participate in the tendering process.
Landell is a management consultancy that has been engaged by VMIA and is appropriately authorised to manage the EOI process on its behalf.
Potential Respondents will be required to execute a Deed of Confidentiality as a prerequisite to receiving the Invitation for EOI.
