The Department of Sport and Recreation requires establishment of a specialist sports planning and consultancy panel to undertake projects to achieve the Department’s strategic objectives.

The purpose of establishing the panel is to:
(a) assist the Department in the planning of new sport and recreation related facilities;
(b) provide a rapid response to project proposals;
(c) provide a rapid response to facility owners and managers requesting assistance from the Department for specialist advice;
(d) assist the Department in the preliminary planning stages of sport and recreation related facilities; and
(e) assist the Department in providing advice to facility owners and managers in maintaining and/or upgrading existing sport and recreation related facilities.
