Tender Description
The package of works is the hydraulic application of growing media and seed onto prepared ground surfaces and batters as part of the final landscaping treatment for the TSRC Project.
The application will be in accordance with the relevant MRTS Specification(s) MRTS52 Erosion and Sediment Control and MRTS16 Landscape and Revegetation Works.
Species lists and quantities will be provided for the relevant locations to achieve the required plant densities and will be as per the landscape design. Seed procurement will be included within the scope of works and all necessary quality documentation is required to be provided within terms of seed purity and expected germination rates.
Works locations will be progressively reinstated as works permit and will be provided on an ongoing basis. As such there is potential for interaction with other task disciplines and the preferred contractor will be requested to accommodate any required interfaces with other subcontractors and project personnel.
The preferred contractor will be responsible for the irrigation of the applied product and remediation where revegetation failures are evident.
