Provision of Property Surveying Services Panel

The Department of Planning requires a panel of licensed surveyors to provide a variety of cadastral surveying service requirements on an ‘as and when required’ basis for the Perth Metropolitan, Peel and Bunbury areas.

The Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) owns many properties ranging from residential, commercial, parks and recreation/regional open space, bush forever, special uses and major land development projects.

Requirements for each Service required will be outlined on the Service Request form and provided with attached additional information, as necessary, dependant on the survey requirements. The requirements, may include but is not limited to:
* Pegging/marking of boundaries;
* Inform the Customer of any encroachments or issues of concern arising from the surveys;
* Provide adequate notice to any tenants in occupation of their intended site visit;
* Submit draft Deposited Plans to the Customer for agreement prior to lodgement;
* Preparation and lodgement of Deposited Plans at Landgate with appropriate surveyors release letter, if necessary;
* Advise the Customer when the Deposited Plans are in order for dealings;
* Landgate historical survey search;
* Calculation of the new Subdivision lot sizes;
* Creation of the Landgate survey records;
* Pay all statutory fees associated with the lodging and registration of the Deposited Plan;
* Supply documentation required, including Certificates of Title, all plans and diagrams, geodetic information and field books covering the land;
* Examine all documentation for Easements or encumbrances.
