2017.026 - Livingstone Shire Council is the owner of two (2) caravan parks, the Beachside Caravan Park (BCP) which is located at Farnborough Road, Yeppoon and the Bell Park Caravan Park (BPCP) which is located at 67 Pattison Street, Emu Park.

Both caravan parks are situated on reserves which have been placed under the control of Council as Trustee, and are managed in accordance with the principles of the Land Act 1994 and Land Regulation 2009.

The Beachside and Bell Park caravan parks are currently operated under contractual management agreements.

The Department of Natural Resources and Mines (DNRM) does not support management agreements over reserve land, and considers that a Trustee Lease is the most appropriate tenure for caravan parks in the longer term.

Responses are invited to this Expression of Interest (EOI) from capable, experienced and suitably qualified parties interested in becoming the Trustee Lessee of Beachside Caravan Park and/or Bell Park Caravan Park.
