Newbrook is a redevelopment project that is re-vitalising the former public housing estate of Airds Bradbury.
The project is a joint venture between UrbanGrowth NSW and Land and Housing NSW and is expected to transform the original 1470 social housing homes into a sustainable mixed income community of over 2000 homes where 30% will be social housing.
UrbanGrowth NSW is seeking submissions from organisations interested in facilitating the development of sustainable social infrastructure for the Newbrook community by:
* Providing community development activities and programs including activities focussed on welcoming new households.
* Supporting residents and community organisations to develop local, sustainable responses to the needs of the changing community.
It is anticipated that the successful organisation will deliver the Newbrook Community Development Program for three (3) years, subject to an annual performance review.
Interested parties are strongly encouraged to attend an information session at AB Central Riverside Drive Airds, 10:30am Thursday 1st June 2017.
Submissions close 4pm on Monday June 19th 2017.
