Energy Queensland is running a competitive tender for Ergon Energy Retail to manage the provision of the DEWS Solar PV Remote Trial at Lockhart River, as part of the Energy Queensland Group.

The Scope of Works for this project is the design, procurement, supply, delivery, installation on site, commissioning and testing of a total of 200 kW of Generation Managed rooftop mounted grid connected Solar PV Systems on the Ergon Energy Corporation Limited (EECL) Lockhart River Isolated Network in Far North Queensland.

The full 200 kW of Solar PV Systems shall be installed across a number of Government/council owned buildings. Four potential sites have been identified and are detailed in Appendix C of the Specification included in the Tender Pack.

The combination of sites utilised to achieve the full 200 kVA requirement shall be selected by the Tenderer in their own design and represent the most cost effective solution.

The scope of works is across multiple sites and is inclusive of, but not limited to the supply and installation of new grid connected solar PV generation systems including:
* Solar PV modules
* Suitable inverters
* Batteries
* Module rooftop mounting systems
* Inverter power (ramping) control systems
* Data logging and monitoring systems integration
* Communications and data systems
* Cable and cable management
* Switchboards and switchgear
* Electrical services
* All other work required to deliver complete, working and compliant Solar PV Systems that are fit for their intended purpose of embedded electrical generation on The Isolated Network.
