Juniper is proceeding with a number of developments and is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced architectural firms to provide architectural services for these projects.

Project Background

The projects may include the following:
80-100 bed Residential Care Facilities (Class 9c)
25-40 Apartment Style Independent Living Units Medical Centre Commercial Office Major Additions and Alterations Site Masterplanning for an Aged Care/Retirement Village Development

Architectural Services:

The following information will assist architectural firms to understand Juniper’s requirements in short listing for the selection of an architectural firm.

In broad terms Juniper will seek to engage a firm that has:
1. Experience in similar developments with understanding of the constraints and opportunities of aged care and retirement village development.
2. Skilled people available and a team with the capacity to produce the quality and volume of documentation within target timelines.
3. Quality control that will capture and review Juniper’s requirements from the projects.

The Architect needs to work closely with Juniper so that any discretional decisions of scope, design and specification are made by Juniper on the basis of technical information and advice provided by the Architect. The documentation will be thorough so as to minimise the number of non-client initiated variations.

4.Management and leadership skills particularly with respect to multi discipline consulting teams to achieve client objectives regarding cost, quality and program.

The firm should provide contact details for clients who will give satisfactory references.
