The AFL conducts Australian football competitions and associated events throughout Australia and overseas generating substantial public following and goodwill.

AFL NSW/ACT has the responsibility for management and growth of the game at a community level throughout the state of New South Wales (NSW) and the Australian Capital Territory (ACT).

The purpose of this document is to define the specific requirements for the manufacture and sale of Community Football Playing Apparel (Services) in the areas under jurisdiction of AFL NSW/ACT.

Currently AFL NSW/ACT appoints a number of licensed providers with the non-exclusive right to provide trademarks for On-field apparel. All sanctioned state leagues are required to wear apparel provided through these channels.

It is envisaged that AFL NSW/ACT will allocate approximately six (6) Licences to individual Proposers.

AFL NSW/ACT proposes to enter into an agreement with the Successful Proposers for the provision of the Services for a term of two (2) years commencing on 1 November 2017 and ending on 31 October 2019 (comprising  the 2018 and 2019 seasons). Licences will have a set Licence Fee plus a royalty fee attached to On-field apparel sales.

Accordingly, AFL NSW/ACT invites Proposers to lodge a Proposal by the Closing Date for consideration.
