The project involves detailed design and construction of a new bridge crossing the Clyde River on the A1 Princes Highway at Batemans Bay and removal of the existing crossing. The new bridge would tie in to the existing Princes Highway between Kings Highway to the north, and North Street to the south of the Clyde River.

All tenderers must comply with the New South Wales Government's Code of Practice for Procurement (NSW Code) and the New South Wales Government's Implementation Guidelines to the New South Wales Code of Practice for Procurement: Building and Construction Industry (NSW Guidelines).

The project is funded by the NSW State government.

This is a Quality Assurance contract.

This is a two stage project, a shortlist of applicants will be selected and invited to submit tenders for the design and construction of the project.

Applications for registration of interest are invited from contractors who are on Road and Maritime Services F100 (Financial), B4 (Bridgeworks) and R3 (Roadworks) Register of Prequalified Contractors to undertake the design and construction of the Batemans Bay Bridge project.

There is no pre-tender meeting for this stage of procurement.
