As Barangaroo increases its profile and activation program, coupled with the increase in visitation, resident, and worker population, it is critical that the Authority has real time analytical information to respond to safety and emergency, and event management, as well as, provision of data for operational decision making, marketing and general reporting, and to inform design of public spaces for future precincts.

As such the Authority requires a solution able to count people (pedestrians), cylcists in and out of the Precinct with 95% accuracy.
