Mildura District Hospital Fund Ltd (trading as Mildura Health).
Mildura Health is seeking expressions of interest from a suitably qualified person to become an external member of the Audit Committee for a three-year term. Mildura Health incorporates the Mildura Health Fund and the Mildura Health Private Hospital.
The Audit Committee is responsible for reviewing and making recommendations to the Mildura Health Board of Directors regarding financial management, internal controls, legislative compliance, internal and external audit planning and reporting. Applicants must have senior experience in some of all of the following:
* Audit (internal and/or external)
* Large organisational systems
* Corporate governance
* Strategic financial planning
* Business improvement
* Risk based financial management
The Audit Committee meets at least four time per year and comprises three Director member representatives.
Applicants must be able to attend meetings held during normal working hours. Remuneration is paid based on meeting attendance.

The covering letter should demonstrate relevant qualifications in addition to knowledge and experience of business or financial management/reporting, financial management systems and procedures, internal business controls and legislative compliance programs.
