Tender ID: 330076
Tender Details
Tender Description
The Department of Finance Services and Innovation’s Spatial Services unit has engaged with key stakeholders to provide input into the implementation of Cadastre NSW which will generate significant benefits for both Government and industry in areas such as feasibility assessments, housing supply, revenue forecasting and data driven regulation.
Cadastre NSW will extend Spatial Services’ current fabric of land parcels and property to include the proposed lot layout of land subdivisions from Development Application (DA) to plan registration. This is a significant improvement on the current environment where multiple organisations, such as local government and utility service providers, maintain duplicate proposed records, with multiple revision and data reconciliation cycles. It will also leverage and contribute information to the Department of Planning & Environment’s ePlanning portal. Cadastre NSW will track the progression of land developments and capture key milestones, generating a valuable data asset for NSW.
Spatial Services ICT Division has approval to proceed with the ICT design, application development, deployment and hosting of the Cadastre NSW in the cloud and its integration with existing services. The Spatial Services Division is extending an invitation to those external commercial organisations that have been identified as potentially being able to assist us with meeting our objectives.
In an agile project environment the successful respondent will work closely with Spatial Services business and ICT staff to deliver the defined objectives. Iteratively, in fortnightly sprints, the project will complete design, build, integration and testing activities until the project is completed.
