The Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games™ (GC2018) will be held from 4 to 15 April 2018 on the Gold Coast in Queensland, Australia. This global sporting event will see approximately 6,500 athletes and officials from 71 nations and territories compete over 11 days in 17 sports and para sports before a cumulative television audience of over one billion people and hundreds of thousands of spectators.

GOLDOC requires a busing depot as part of the Transport Operations Plan. The Site on the corner of Baratta and Wardoo Street, has been secured for GOLDOC 2018 Bus Depot. The venue requires upgrading Civil works to meet GOLDOC requirements.
