GOLDOC requires Games Times Photography services which can deliver a compelling and comprehensive visual content portfolio that captures the full context of GC2018.
The content will be used for promotional and record purposes by GOLDOC, the Queensland Government, Commonwealth Games Federation, Commonwealth Games Australia and Games Partners. The portfolio will need to clearly reflect key factors, including:
* The competitive engagement of 70 Commonwealth nations and territories;
* The full excitement of the GC2018 programme of 18 sports - including an integrated Para-sport programme - held over 11 days of competition and 17 venues around the Gold Coast and event cities of Brisbane, Townsville and Cairns;
* Comprehensive coverage of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies;
* Capturing the diversity and magic of the Festival 2018 programmes in host cities;
* Capture and document venue development in the lead up to the Games (overlay);
* Documenting imagery of behind-the-scenes activities during the Games, including volunteers, crowds, venues, celebration zones, branding (including sponsor branding) and the vibrancy of the host and event cities; and
* Capturing a series of images of the facilities provided by GOLDOC to spectators, media, sponsors in staging the Games which could be included as part of the transfer of knowledge for future Games and to the next hosts.
