The Warrnambool Racing Club invites Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced businesses for the provision of exclusive catering services for its venue.

WRC conducts 19 thoroughbred race meetings annually, including the internationally renowned May Racing Carnival which attracts more than 30,000 patrons over the 3 day event. Its premier hospitality venue, the Matilda Room, also hosts events for weddings, corporate functions and private celebrations throughout the year.

The club wishes to engage and licence a Catering Contractor as head and executive caterer for the racecourse for a negotiated term.

The provision of catering services includes:
* Provide catering services on race days including pre-sold on-course hospitality packages, private member dining, club officials catering, and private club functions;
* Provide a mixed range of take-away and in-house menu options on race days via Matilda Room bistro and outside public eatery; and
* Provide catering services for private events held in the Matilda Room and within catering areas within the Racecourse.

In performing the catering activities, the contractor shall provide the necessary labour, consumables and cleaning as well as maintain the kitchen and equipment compliant with all relevant statutory or regulatory requirements.

The successful contractor will have a reputation in providing catering that is consistent in quality, modern and innovative, and reasonably valued.
