COW000004 - Council invites tenders for the operation of a caravan park at Greenway Caravan Park, Tully QLD.

The Council is seeking innovative and experienced operators to provide high quality service, management, development and maintenance of the caravan park. The Council is looking for operators who can operate the business from the caravan park and provide affordable, secure, sustainable and presentable caravan park facilities appropriate to the location.

Capital investment will be required to realise the full potential of this beautiful location and business opportunity. A twenty years lease will be the reward with possible negotiated option for an additional ten (10) years.

Tully is one of the larger towns of the Cassowary Coast Region. The economic base of the region is agriculture; sugar cane and banana being the dominant crops grown. The sugar cane grown at the many farms in the district is processed locally at the Tully Sugar Mill to give raw sugar which is shipped elsewhere for refinement.
