Valuer-General Victoria Centralised and Annualised Valuations

The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) is seeking to identify potential suppliers with the appropriate capabilities and experience to complete the 2019, 2020 and 2021 General Valuation of all rateable land and non-rateable leviable land for Councils in Victoria.

VGV is the state’s independent authority on property valuations. The Valuation of Land Act 1960 establishes the process for the administration of rating and taxing valuations in Victoria and is currently subject to proposed amendments.

Commencing 1 July 2018, the Government will centralise land valuation with the Valuer-General (VG) and introduce annual valuations for Land Tax, Fire Services Property Levy and Council Rate setting purposes from the 2019 revaluation year.

Interested suppliers should complete the attached Response Form (Attachment Two) relating to this Expression of Interest which is available for download from the Victorian Government Tender website www.tenders.vic.gov.au.

Expressions of Interest close at 2.00 pm on Thursday 29 March 2018.

Interested suppliers who respond to this EOI will be invited to participate in the Requote for Quote (RFQ) proposal for individual Councils contracts in April 2018.
