Expressions of interest are sought from suitably qualified and experienced people to joint the East Gippsland Catchment Management Authority's (the Authority) Audit & Risk Committee (A&RC) and/or the Communications & Engagement Committee (C&EC) as an external member.

A&RC: The A&RC is a sub-committee of the Board responsible for providing advice and guidance on matters relating to audit, governance, risk management, internal control and financial management.

Applicants must demonstrate strong skills and experience in financial management and be a member of CPA Australia, The Institute of Chartered Accountants (Australia) or similar. Additional skills in the following areas will be highly regarded:
* Risk management
* Information systems and technology
* Corporate governance
* Internal/external audit
* Occupational health and safety
* Audit committee/board membership
* Legislative compliance programs

C&EC Committee: Applicants for the C&EC Committee must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience in digital media and marketing. Additional skills in the following areas will be highly regarded:
* Corporate communications
* Stakeholder engagement
* Partnership development.

An appointment will be made by the Authority for a 2-year term with the external member expected to attend 4-5 meetings each year with further meetings called if required. Appointments to the Committee(s) will be remunerated in accordance with State Government ministerial guidelines.
