Spatial Services requires current and accurate spatial information to deliver to government, industry and the community via the Spatial Portal and NSW Live. Traditionally the imagery has been outsourced to the private sector for tailored capture via the RFQ process. To meet the immediate requirements of key government stakeholders an alternative source of imagery data must be obtained covering the Sydney, Illawarra and Newcastle regions. The imagery data must be pre-packaged and available for immediate delivery.

The use of an off the shelf product satisfies the needs of stakeholders providing a whole of government dataset readily available for use from the time of purchase.
